Megan Healy: What RUMPUS Means to Me

RUMPUS is a time when day and dorm students become closer. Especially for the freshmen girls’ dorm, a lot of day girls learn about the life of a dorm student because it is a new experience for all of them. The day students learn about the different cultures of many of the international students. The dorm grows closer as a whole.
We are all working towards one common goal: to do this best we can in the competition and have fun. In addition, many of the day students get to know the duty staff. This gives the students an opportunity to work alongside the faculty in order to complete a challenge or event.
Last year, I ran in The Gauntlet with Mr. Eady as our faculty advisor. He was so encouraging throughout the event! RUMPUS really is a time to step out of your comfort zone to get to know other students!
