Diane Lumpkin, music instructor and assistant Lower School principal, has planned the annual class musicals for the 2003-2004 academic year. Traditionally, each class presents a musical during the year. There has been one additional to this tradition. This year, character education will be woven into the musicals, in an effort to reinforce a Lower School goal: to help Lower School students become productive citizens. “The plays that each class presents are unique and special to our school,” Lumpkin said. “What better way to emphasize positive character than through music?”
