Lower School starts year in fashion

A first in the Lower School’s history –uniforms! On the first day of the 2001-2002 school year, students stepped onto the campus wearing uniforms. The School chose to implement the uniform requirement as a result of feedback from parent surveys and committee consideration.

Faculty children, on the Upper School Library steps, wait for the bus to take them (in uniform) to the Lower School.

For the first time, students at the Lower School stepped from their cars wearing uniforms.

Sharing flowers and a litle pat:what better way to begin the school year?

Times change and the beginning of this school year is no different. At the Lower School, students are wearing uniforms and many are carrying backpacks with wheels!

Uniforms and variety are usually not synonymous but at the Lower School there is an assortment of uniform styles and colors.
