Lower School cross country team finishes second

The Lower School cross country team finished second at their first meet held at Berry College in early February. Fifth-grader Bethany Cagle came in No. 2 overall with an individual time of 15:31 for two miles. Other notable finishes include third-grader Bailey Smith in third place, third-grader Jared Deaton in ninth place, and first-grader Griffin Welborn in tenth place. The Lower School competes as part of the Rome/Floyd Elementary Cross Country League, sponsored by Berry's Cross Country Team.
