Letters become familiar through bagpipe melodies

They’re not just blowing hot air in pre-kindergarten. With show and tell guests like Scott Macleod, students are learning about the alphabet and also seeing some of the wonderful small pleasures of the world. To complement their studies of the letters “B” and “W,” pre-kindergartener Sarah Beth Cline’s neighbor visited the class dressed in his kilt, to play the bagpipes –all while demonstrating the wonderful things that can happen when his breath or wind is wafted through an instrument.
