Learning and Growing as an Admission Tiger Expert

In my opinion, the Admission Tiger Experts are a team of students who strive to propel all that the Darlington Community has to offer, whether it is to alumni, faculty and staff, or current and prospective students.

I’ve been asked to thread my Darlington story into campus tours in order to give visitors personal insight and an opportunity to connect their own experiences to Darlington. Being able to do so, talking about my transition to a private school and into middle school, with both Middle and Upper School students has been heartwarming. You would never think that by giving so much of yourself to this team and program that you would gain so much also.

I’ve learned so much about others, either by writing to or talking with them, and about myself and how I’ve grown and can continue growing as a leader both on and off campus. I have also developed friendships with the admission staff and other student leaders on the Tiger Expert team. These relationships make coming to the Admission Office to work or give a tour all the more enjoyable for me.

I appreciate the entire Admission Office for giving me such an amazing opportunity to be a part of Tiger Experts for the last two years, and I look forward to two more years of fun, creativity and hard work.
