Leaders represent Darlington in Rome

Juniors Patrick King, Lauren Jane Tharp, and David Wilson and sophomore Laura McGuire are representing Darlington in High School Leadership Rome 2001-2002.
These students will participate in monthly, day long seminars with other area high school students. Topic areas include medicine, law and government, education, and transportation and business. "This is a great, educational opportunity for our students," Jill Pate, director personal counseling, explained. "Last year our students observed an open heart surgery, went for a plane ride at Richard B. Russell Airport, and spent a day at the courthouse and jail."
