Language students explore study-abroad options

The Upper School French class will welcome Michel Vanderplank, student exchange coordinator for France, on January 7. Vanderplank will be speaking to the students about possible opportunities to study abroad through Language Villages. On January 8, parents of Lower, Middle, and Upper school students are invited to join Vanderplank in the Briley Lecture Room located in the Upper School library, to discuss Concordia Language Villages’ programs.
The Language Villages, mainly based in Minnesota, offer full immersion, educational experiences for students in approximately 12 different languages. Attendance has grown consistently in their 40-year existence. In the summer of 2001, Language Villages hosted over 4500 students, ages seven through 18.
