Lady Tigers advance to Region semifinals

The Darlington girls' basketball team defeated Fellowship Christian Wednesday night 61-21 to move on to the Region 6A tournament semifinals.

What has been an easy road so far is about to get a lot tougher. The four teams remaining in the Region 6A tournament- Southwest Atlanta Christian, Gordon Lee, St. Francis, and Darlington- are all ranked in the top 6 in the State.
Darlington split their games with both Southwest Atlanta and Gordon Lee during the regular season, but have yet to play their semifinal opponent St. Francis. That game will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Mount Paran.
