Patricia Ayers’ kindergarteners traveled to Cagle’s Dairy Farm to find out where milk comes from as their first experience with the letter “Dd.” Not to be upstaged by a cow’s ability to provide dairy products, dogs got into the act at the class’ K-9 Dog Show.
And, last but definitely not least, dinosaurs rounded out the study of the letter “Dd” as students participated in a dinosaur dig that Ayer set up in the classroom. “The children have had a ball being paleontologists and using the dig equipment,” Ayer said.
