International Fair Celebrates Diversity

“Take a Virtual World Tour” is the theme of Darlington Upper School’s eleventh annual international affair, Sunday, March 18, 2:30- 5 p.m. Events begin in the Darlington Library’s Briley Lecture Room. German, Latin, and Spanish classes as well as international students are working together to create exhibits of stamps, homes, tourist sites, and arts and crafts from around the globe. Festival goers will have the chance to learn about schools in other countries, popular music, dating customs, etc. The exhibits will be open from 2:30 – 3:15p.m.

Then, cap off the occasion in the Dodd Banquet Room from 3:30 – 5 p.m. and taste traditional foods from over a dozen countries prepared by Darlington students. The entire Darlington community is invited and encouraged to attend.
