International Club unites for charity

To benefit those affected by the September 11 tragedy, the International Club sponsored a collection for the American Red Cross. Thanks to the students’ work in publicizing and collecting, they raised $661. “The international students really wanted to do something to show solidarity with America,” Betsy Awsumb, International Club adviser, said. “They wanted us to know that they were hurting, too.” Donations were taken at the Upper School following Chapel and during the lunch periods on Wednesday, September 19.
