Houses Generate Communication Need

A plethora of activities –community service projects, family-style haircuts, a surprise bowling party, baby showers, intramural competitions, house-coordinated Chapel services –the new house system has spawned loads of action. And with the newness of the house system comes curiosity. People want to know how this new system is working. They want stories. And what better way to learn about the activities within these abodes than from their members? Student leaders within the house system were recently selected to represent their houses and serve as communication house liaisons, a new position created to provide Darlington’s communications office with house news. The following students were selected because of their dependability and involvement within their houses: Brian Harrison (Barnes House), Andrea Hogue (Gibbons House), Mary Binns (Griffeth House), Charlotte Baker (Harris House), Charles Thomas (Steadman House), and Phil Parham (Zimmer House).
