Parents and students are reminded that eligibility requirements for receiving the HOPE Scholarship changed beginning with the Class of 2000. Students in this year’s freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes must have an 80 or better cumulative average in the following 15 core-curriculum courses: English ,4, math, 4, social studies, 3, science, 3, and foreign language, 2. Only grades in those core-curriculum subject areas will count toward HOPE eligibility.
