Historic Field Trips Highlight End of Year

To celebrate the end of the year, Middle School classes will go to various locations in the Atlanta area on field trips May 11. After a special unit on the Civil War with civics teacher Pete Orio, sixth-graders are going to the Cyclorama, with the added bonus of a visit to the Atlanta Zoo. The seventh-grade class is going to the Atlanta Holocaust Museum and CNN after a study on The Diary of Anne Frank with English teacher and student publication adviser Nancy Ivester.
