Headmaster to host parent gatherings

Headmaster Tom Whitworth will host a handful of informal parent gatherings throughout the month of January to talk with parents about the future of Darlington School.

“As we head into the fifth month of our school year, there are still so many parents that I have not been able to meet or to speak with and, quite frankly, that bothers me,” said Whitworth. “I want to hear from parents about their hopes and dreams for their child(ren) and for Darlington. I am excited about sharing the blueprint for Darlington’s future.”

Parents will have the opportunity to meet with Whitworth and their respective division director from the Lower, Middle or Upper School. All meetings will be held in Tiger Hall at the Lower School campus at 8 a.m. and will dismiss by 9:30 a.m. at the latest. The schedule appears below, organized by last name.

Plans are currently underway to provide an online forum for boarding parents to participate. Please watch the Web for further announcements.
