Harbin earns National Merit Scholarship

Senior Lindsay Harbin has been awarded a corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. As the winner of the Kellogg’s Corporate Citizenship Fund Merit Scholarship, she will receive a one-time scholarship for the college of her choice. More than one million students enter the National Merit Program. Only 16,000 were named Semifinalists. To become one of the 15,000 Finalists, the student must complete a detailed scholarship application. From this group, 7,900 are awarded as Lindsay was.
