Guest artist works with drama students

Guest artist Chris Hall worked with the lead student actors in "Les Miserables" Jan. 30 and 31 in the drama room.
"I really enjoy working with young actors and artists throughout the country who are just getting their feet wet and have an interest and passion for theater," said Hall.
Hall has worked over the last decade as a professional performer, musician and clinician throughout the U.S. and beyond. After graduating from Shorter College, he took his education to the next level, studying acting and theatrical art forms in New York City.
Since then, Hall's career has taken him through the regional theatrical circuit in addition to his work in the New York and Los Angeles performance markets. Some favorite roles have included Chris in "Miss Saigon," Ravenal in "Showboat," and the creation of the character Smudge in the cast of "Forever Plaid," was written by Stuart Ross who also wrote for the popular television shows "Cheers" and "Frasier."
Hall served on the arts faculty at the prestigious New York State Theatre Institute in Albany, N.Y., in 2004-05. Originally from Marietta, Ga., he now resides in the "Hell's Kitchen" neighborhood of midtown Manhattan.
