Greeson named March Student of the Month

Outstanding academic achievement has won senior Owen Greeson the honor of being named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for March.
Greeson currently ranks 15th in the class of 121. During his high school career, he has taken 14 AP and Honors courses. He is a member of Cum Laude Society, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Gamma Chi Epsilon.
Greeson is unique in that he excels in both the fine arts and athletics. A mamber of the Concert Choir and the Random Notes men's a cappella group, he has performed in the school's winter musicals for the past three years. He is also a standout member of Darlington's varsity soccer team as well as captain of a traveling soccer team. Last year, Greeson was named MVP of the varsity soccer team and also ran cross country.
The son of Debbie and Dan Greeson of Rome, he will be honored at an Optimist Club luncheon on March 28.
