Graduates attend 60 colleges, universities; earn over $2.5 million in scholarships

Associate Headmaster and Dean of College Guidance Sam Moss ’63 reported that Darlington seniors plan to attend 60 different colleges. One hundred and eleven different public and private colleges and universities accepted students from Darlington’s class of 2002. “Fifty-one seniors, 49 percent of the class, distinguished themselves and brought honor to Darlington by the 85 academic, athletic, and special achievement scholarships that they have been offered – including one service academy appointment, ” Moss said. Monetary awards offered to this class have a total value of $2,523,224.
