Girls golf on par

For the first time in Darlington's history there is a separate golf team for the girls program. With an impressive entrance, the girls golf team won its debut over Rockmart High School. Liz Fine, junior, and freshmen Jenny Morris and Mary Beth Monk enjoyed the victory. Jenny Morris was the low medallist.
Even the high winds and cold temperatures did not discourage the girls’ spirit and energy. “I am sure that this is an auspicious beginning for girls golf here at Darlington,” said Raymond Murray, varsity golf head coach.
