Gamble receives three college scholarships

Darlington senior Alicia Gamble, daughter of Norris and Cornelia Gamble of Rome, has been selected to receive the Arizona State University Sun Devil Scholarship based on her exceptional high school performance. The Sun Devil Scholarship is a $4,000 partial tuition waiver and is renewable for three additional years for a total value of $16,000, provided she maintains satisfactory academic progress according to University guidelines.
Gamble has also been awarded an Academic Scholarship from Berry College valued at $23,112 based on her exceptional high school performance. And she earned a Josiah Penfield scholarship from Mercer University valued at $39,000. Both scholarships are renewable for three additional years provided Alicia maintains satisfactory academic progress according to University guidelines.
