Galloway receives three scholarship awards

Darlington senior Katie Galloway, daughter of Tim and Debbie Galloway of Rome, has been named a University Scholar by Mercer University. This scholarship is valued at $5,000 and renewable for three additional years for a total value of $20,000. She has also received a Southeastern Dillard Elliot Scholarship package from Presbyterian College valued at $23,320 based on her high school success. Both scholarships are renewable for three additional years provided Katie maintains satisfactory academic progress according to University guidelines.
In addition, Galloway has been named a Tift Honor Scholar by Tift College Scholarship Committee of Mercer University, Macon Ga. This scholarship is valued at $9,000 and renewable for eight semesters (fall/spring) of tuition for a total value of $36,000. The award may be used for study in one of the traditional, undergraduate programs on the Mercer-Macon campus.
