Thank you to Tiger Pride for their generosity toward the purchase of a refrigerated salad bar for our dining hall. A $1,000 grant that we earned last year from Kroger also helped defray the cost of this new piece of equipment. Through the help of Amy Monroe’s family member, we were able to save over $1,000 in the purchase price along with free delivery.
Please stop by to see the new addition to our salad bar. We have been able to add a variety of salads, including yogurt with granola topping, pudding, jello and fruit salad. More items will be offered in the coming weeks.
Donuts for Dads will take place on Thursday, March 31, starting at 7:45 a.m. in the Gym. Please RSVP to the classroom teacher before spring break. If any dad is going to be out of town, a grandparent or an adult
friend is welcome to attend on his behalf. Additional parking will be available on Little Tiger Field, pending the weather. If the field is soggy, please use the VFW Post parking area adjacent to the school.
As a reminder to our parents, school classroom attire does not include jackets, specialty sweatshirts, etc. Only the official uniforms are worn in the classroom, at assemblies and special events. We appreciate your
help in reminding the children of their responsibility.
We have had a great response to our request for quality introductions for rising third and fourth grade students. Lea Duncan has been busy giving tours to fourth grade families. We thank you for your support! Contracts are due for the upcoming school year. If we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to call me or Lea Duncan. Your endorsement of the Lower School has been our best marketing tool and we are ever so grateful for all you do to help us.
Grand/Special Day, a special event for parents, grandparents and special friends which also features our Spring Concert, is coming up soon! The theme this year is “Anything and Everything Disney.” Please mark your calendar for Friday, April 15. The concert will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Gym.
