From the Desk of the Lower School Director - 26

Re-enrollment contracts are now due and we hope to hear from you soon so we can start making plans for next year. If you are not planning to return in the fall, please contact me or Lea Duncan. We are here to assist you in any way possible.

Thank you to the faculty and staff who chaperoned the sock hop on Friday – Flo Anthony, Rebekah Kinney, Alice Clements and Steve McConnell. Special thanks to Yensen Lambert, our dance instructor, and Ben Farnham from Berry College who was our DJ. It was a fun afternoon – the students danced the entire time and enjoyed the camaraderie between the grades.

Interim grades close on Friday, March 4, for the second semester. Reports will be sent home on Wednesday, March 9. Parents are welcome to schedule a conference as needed.

Please mark your calendar for the Third Grade Play “13 Colonies” on March 15 at 2 p.m. and the Fourth Grade Science Fair on March 17 starting at 8:45 a.m. We will have an early dismissal on Friday, March 18, the start of our spring break. Classes resume on Monday, March 28.

Donuts for Dads is scheduled for Thursday, March 31, at 7:45 a.m. RSVPs will be accepted starting the week of March 14. Please let your child’s classroom teacher know if you will be attending. For new families, this is a special morning for dads to have refreshments with your children and visit their classrooms before heading off to work.
