We had an extraordinary Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week, thanks to our students, parents and Tiger Pride organization. Each day, the faculty and staff were served delicious cakes, treats and beverages. On
Wednesday during our faculty meeting, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

We are grateful for all of the gifts and notes of appreciation we received, especially those written by the students. The take-home dinner gift certificate from Moko To Go was a big hit! Hats off to Lauren Brewster, Scarlet Roberts and Lauren Sklar for making this event a huge success. The faculty and staff felt much appreciated. Our families are the best in the world and we can’t thank you enough for all you do to support our work with your children.

I hope you had a chance this past weekend to attend one of the performances of Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast," sponsored by Darlington School's Fine Arts Department. It was an outstanding production showcasing the many talented students we have at Darlington.

Re-enrollment contracts have been mailed out to our families. Deposits are due back during the first week in March. If your family is not planning to return in August, please contact me or Lea Duncan. If we can assist
you in any way, please let us know. As always, we thank you for your support and commitment to Darlington School!

A sock hop for our third and fourth grade students is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 25, from 3:10 until 4:45 p.m. in our gym. Mrs. Yensen Lambert, parent of Ezra, will be teaching the students some new dance moves. Mrs. Lambert is an Upper School Spanish teacher who
also teaches Zumba every Friday. Admission is $2, which includes a DJ and refreshments.

Please mark your calendar for the third-grade play, "13 Colonies," which is scheduled for March 15 at 2 p.m. Families and friends are cordially invited. Also note that the next Tiger Pride meeting will be March 11 in Tiger Hall at 1:50 p.m. We look forward to your attendance.
