Did you know that you can help support new families while, at the same time, freeing up financial aid dollars for current families when you take advantage of the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program? This program allows us to help new, qualified students who are transferring from public schools, thereby strengthening our enrollment and student body.

By re-directing a portion of your Georgia state tax dollars to GOAL, you are making a difference in a child’s life. This year, Darlington hopes to raise $1 million through the Georgia GOAL initiative. It is imperative that alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends act quickly since this program can be revoked at any time by our General Assembly. By getting your application in now and being pre-approved, you can help Darlington take advantage of the $50 million dollars allocated statewide.

Married couples filing joint can contribute up to $2,500 to the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program. In return, you can receive a tax credit for the amount of the contribution and a charitable deduction for federal tax purposes provided you itemize. This program is a win-win for both Darlington and the donor and I encourage your participation!
