Darlington’s French Club experienced food French-style in Atlanta in late October, led by hosts Nathalie Welch, French instructor, and her husband, David Welch ’82. They took nine students to Le Soleil, including Meggin Roberts, her friend, Stephanie, from Pepperrell, Anja Knabe-Paulsen, Mika Wells, Nora Zaremba, Johanna Griesshammer, Matt Gill, Tyler Wilkinson, and John Umberger.
They tried great Fench delicatessen, such as escargots, house salad with shrimps and goat cheese, duck filet, pork loin with old style mustard sauce, lamb osso bucco, pasta dishes, and desserts. “Quelle bonne soirée,” according to Nathalie Welch.
