The Lower School's Environmental Bowl team, comprised of eight fourth-graders, competed in conjunction with the Coosa River Basin Initiative's annual Waterfest event April 17 at Ridge Ferry Park.
"The group met after school for several weeks to prepare for this competition," said Steve Bartholomew, director of Lower School. "They are to be commended for their spirit and enthusiasm in representing Darlington."
Team members included Julia Holmes, Harris Jackson, Jack McClain, Pierce Monroe, Rand Smith, Emily Taylor, Caroline Temples and Nolan Wilson.
"I would also like to thank our parents, grandparents, faculty and students who came out to support our team," Bartholomew said. "It was a great day all around."
