Four lacrosse players named to Team Georgia

Fred Johnson, Gavin Tumblin, Joey Watters and William Waters have been selected to Team Georgia, an elite team in the sport of lacrosse representing the best players in the state.
“Being a part of Team Georgia will help me improve my game and get more experience at a higher level of play,” Johnson said. “It is a great honor to be able to play amongst some of the top players in the United States, and I am excited about traveling around the country for competitions.”
Tumblin agreed, “Being part of this team is going to help me tremendously. I look forward to learning new coaching styles and discovering ways to improve myself as a player.”
Sponsored by Bagataway Lacrosse, which was founded in 2002 for the promotion and growth of girls and boys lacrosse in the Atlanta area and throughout the Southeast, Team Georgia is made up of players who are dedicated to playing the sport at the highest level. These players are given the opportunity, through camps and tournaments, to compete with the best players in the state and against the best players from across the country. Team Georgia High School Boys coaches include Bagataway Directors Mike Hannon and Hank Janczyk.
