Flexible Fridays: Prize Drawing and Leaderboard

Over 186 challenges were completed for our first Flexible Friday and we are so proud of each and every one of you for participating!
Watch both of the videos in this blog post as Mr. Bell does the first-ever Flexible Friday drawing for each division! He will also announce this week's leaderboard.
Congratulations to our drawing winners from this past week. A special delivery will soon be headed their way! Winners get to choose their prize. Names not drawn will continue to stay in the drawing bowl each week, and you can add entries with each challenge you complete. How will the leaderboard change next week?

10:00 am: Heads of House Kim Bell and Karen Calvert will discuss ways Upper School students can receive community service hours. You can learn more about their discussion by watching this video.
10:00 am: Freshman Kate Scott will provide a sing-along activity for our lower school students and explain how to complete this week’s GarageBand song challenge. Watch this video to learn more about Kate’s live discussion. There will even be a special guest joining Kate to teach you some dance moves!
11:00 am: Dean Sam Moss will provide a live discussion about the tradition of Honor at Darlington School. Get a sneak peek of his discussion here.
11:00 am: Library Associate Paige Rogers will provide an exciting read-along for our Pre-K to 7 students. You can view her teaser video at this link.
1:00 pm: Coaches Chad Liddle and Brent J. Bell will talk about important aspects of leadership. You can watch this video to find out more!
Students can find the “Flexible Fridays” website link on the “quick links” section on their student portal today. Parents can also access this link in their parent portal. When a challenge is completed, the student will email his or her completed task to flexiblefridays@darlingtonschool.org and points will be assigned at that time. The following Friday, we will recognize students who earned points the previous week and we will hold a prize drawing. We look forward to celebrating students and rolling out new challenges each week.
