Fifth grade students took a field trip to Atlanta in mid-January to enjoy Sci-Trek’s hands-on approach to science. They experimented with simple machines, sound, measurement of weight, magnetism, light, and the human body.
The students also participated in a workshop on forensic science. They also studied owls’ diets by digging through owl pellets and evaluating the bones.
