Fifth-graders earn place in honor chorus

Callie Craton, Maggie Sparks, Jack Kelly, Jack Lynch, Devon Watson, and Owen Greeson, fifth grade, have been chosen to participate in the statewide honor chorus. Music educators Charles Tighe and Alyssa Coble will be clinicians for the chorus.
This two-day event will be held at the Clayton County Center for Performing Arts, Morrow, Ga. These students will be participating with students from across the state as they sing challenging pieces written for children’s choirs. “Our students are blessed to be in a school that is so supportive of the fine arts program,” Diane Lumpkin, music teacher, said.
