Faculty Continue Education

Science and math instructor Lola Bradshaw and fifth-grade teacher Peree Collier will attend an interactive workshop, June 7-8, sponsored by Regional Education Service Agency (RESA), to learn more about wetlands and then implement this knowledge in the classroom.

New fifth-grade teacher Becky Kellerman is taking three RESA-sponsored classes: Poetry, Prose, Paraphrasing (a course that teaches teachers how to integrate poetry into the classroom); Geology in the Classroom (a course that combines lectures, field trips and hands-on activities to give participants a solid knowledge of minerals, rocks, fossils, and the geology of Georgia); and Team Building Basics (a class that shows teachers how to build teams, cooperation, and community among students).
