Enrollment Represents 18 Countries

Darlington's 2000-2001 opening day enrollment was 900, with 450 students in the Upper School, 187 in the Middle School, and 263 in the Lower School.
The boarding division is composed of 176 students from 18 countries and 16 states. The day population represents 10 counties in Georgia and one in Alabama. States represented in our boarding division include Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, New York, South Carolina, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. Countries represented include Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, China, Ecuador, Germany, Jamaica, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Phillippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, and Venezuela.
Day students are from Floyd, Bartow, Polk, Gordon, Cobb, Cherokee, Whitfield, Haralson, Chattooga, and Paulding counties in Georgia and Cherokee County in Alabama.
