Focusing on the nation, community, and self, Darlington Lower School announces 2002 Delightascope, a summer camp for students between the ages of two and eight years old. The camp will meet for three one-week sessions beginning July 8 through 12, July 15 through 19, and July 22 through 26.

Weekly themes involve students in age-appropriate activities to develop a love of learning, peer interaction, social skills, creativity, and motor skills. Delightascope is directed by Lower School teacher Patricia Ayer and taught by certified teachers and experienced teacher’s aides. “We have great teachers and wonderful counselors,” said Ayer. “Each week has a different focus with new crafts, activities, and themes.”

Class sizes are limited and applications are now available. Camp cost, including camp T-shirt, is $90 per weeklong session if paid before May 18. After this time, cost will be $100.
