Let’s get to know Trustin Mercer, a five-year day student from Cartersville, Ga., who plays basketball.

Community, welcoming, chill

"Adventure of a Lifetime”

“Gossip Girl”

Basketball
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
Coach West for pushing everyone to be the best they can be; he’s hard on us because he knows that we can always improve on our game.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The locker room
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Ms. Shores - she was a real chill teacher while still being able to give you a great education.
What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?
How much freedom they give you.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Meeting all the dorm students would’ve never been possible anywhere else in Rome.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
My character has changed a lot; it feels like I’m a totally different person since I came here.
What is your dream job?
