Let’s get to know Slade Clevenger, a 13-year day student from Rome who serves as a Moser House leader and member of the Discipline Committee.

Opportunity, connections, honor

What's your favorite show to binge watch?
“Wednesday”
What's your favorite restaurant in Rome?
Duffy’s Deli
What house are you a member of?
Moser
What are you involved in at Darlington?
Discipline Committee, Moser House leader, baseball team, football team
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
Coach Hunt is my favorite because he knows how to push me to my limit and get me better.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The Growl. I get to hang out with all of my friends.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Mrs. Atkins is my favorite teacher from high school because she always knew what I needed help with and was willing to go out of her way to help me and treat me as one of her own.
What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?
RUMPUS
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
RUMPUS is a unique time during the year at Darlington and I love how every student can fit in and contribute and have fun.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
Better time management getting my work done.
What is your dream job?
Commercial pilot
