In this #SeniorSpotlight, get to know Radha Miniyar, a nine-year day student from Rome who loves to spend time in the McCallie-Kennedy Library with her friends.

Friendships, learning, culture
When you think of high school, what song comes to mind?

What's your favorite show to binge watch?
“Pretty Little Liars”
What house are you a member of?
Regester House
What are you involved in at Darlington?
Tiger Experts, National Honor Society
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The library because all of my friends and I hang out in one of the rooms and it is a good place to get work done during your free periods.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Mrs. Atkins and Mrs. Haynes because, along with teachers, they have also been great friends to me. I go to them when I need advice or if I just want to talk about my day.
What's your favorite thing about Darlington?
The fact that different people around the world come here.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
When all of the houses get together at RUMPUS. It's a great place where all boarding and day students can come together.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I have become a better student and a better friend.
Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
I want to go to Vanderbilt University and become a pediatrician.
