In this #SeniorSpotlight get to know Preslie Jackson, a five-year day student from Rome who enjoys volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club, among other involvements.
What's your favorite show to binge on Netflix?
“Grey’s Anatomy”
What house are you a member of?
Thornwood House
What are you involved in at Darlington?
I played volleyball, I was a Tiger Expert, I was a leader in Cooper House last year, and I was also a Boys & Girls Club mentor.
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
My favorite Coach is EJ Hunt because he is so supportive and enjoys being with us.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite place is around the lake because of how pretty it is.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Mrs. King is my favorite teacher because she is very understanding and helps us enjoy what we are doing in class.
What's your favorite thing about Darlington?
The relationships I have been able to make.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Being able to meet so many people from all over the world.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I have become more responsible and also more understanding.
Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
I want to go to the University of Alabama and become a neonatal nurse practitioner.
