A Darlington student is made up of many things. None of which is average. We help our students develop their interests, passions and pursuits, because we believe every individual has something to contribute. We also believe that only when you're 100% you, are you 100% Darlington.

In this #SeniorSpotlight, get to know Madison Rogers, a five-year day student from Tuscaloosa, Ala., who loves theater and plays viola in the Orchestra

What's your favorite show to binge on Netflix?     
“The Vampire Diaries”

What house are you a member of?     
Regester House

What are you involved in at Darlington?
I am in theater and Orchestra. I play the viola.     

If you are involved in fine arts, what is your favorite activity and why?    
I enjoy theater the most because it has allowed me to be more outgoing and express myself without fear of judgement.    

What's your favorite place on campus?    
The science building.     

Who's your favorite teacher and why? 
Mr. Kinney because he is a very passionate teacher and really encourages students to succeed.     

What's your favorite thing about Darlington?    
Being able to meet people from all over the world and getting to learn new about different cultures.    

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     
The college guidance process. The amount of help and encouragement I’ve received throughout the whole process is something I don’t think I could get anywhere else.     

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?     
I’ve grown out of my shell and I’ve become more outgoing and friendly.     

Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?    
I am going to Mississippi State University and I want to become a veterinarian.
