Let’s get to know Kate Scott, a 13-year day student from Rome whose Senior Ventures project aims to raise awareness of the ecosystems and species in Rome through videography.

“Grey’s Anatomy”

What house are you a member of?
Regester
What are you involved in at Darlington?
Cross country, track and field, Regester House head day prefect, Y-Cabinet (president), Darlingtones female a cappella group, Tiger Expert, Advancement Ambassador, Senior Ventures
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
Coach Evans - He is super supportive and pushes me to be my best.
If you are involved in fine arts, what is your favorite activity and why?
The Darlingtones’ Valentines Day singing grams! It's a great way to brighten people's day!
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The trails behind the Kawamura Science Building. It's my favorite place to run!
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Mr. Kinney - His classes are very interactive and he's an incredible teacher!
What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?
All the different types of people and opportunities in the community!
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
My experience as a dorm leader has been so fun! I have been able to meet and form friendships with people from around the world.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I have grown as a leader, student, and an overall person.
What is your dream job?
