Day #SeniorSpotlight: Kameron Fountain

Let’s get to know Kameron Fountain, a seven-year day student from Rome who plans to study animation at The Savannah College of Art and Design this fall.

Rigor and Work

What song reminds you of high school?     
“Amber” - 311    

What's your favorite show to binge watch?     
“Game Grumps”

What's your favorite restaurant in Rome?     
Blue Fin

What house are you a member of?     
Moser

What are you involved in at Darlington?
Asian Union, Senior Ventures

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    
My favorite place on campus is definitely the library. It's where I spend every day studying and laughing with friends.            

Who's your favorite teacher and why? 
My favorite teacher has to be Mr. Hudson. He is consistently funny, reads the room, and he is just overall a chill guy.    

What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?    
My favorite thing about Darlington has to be the accessibility. We have access to many tools and opportunities here that will help us with our future careers.     

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     
The trip to England this fall was one that I'll never forget. I have many memories to look back upon and stories to tell, not to mention the people that I went with.    

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?    
I have grown in the social aspect of my life throughout my time here at Darlington.    

What is your dream job?    
Concept artist/lead animator
