A Darlington student is made up of many things. None of which is average. We help our students develop their interests, passions and pursuits, because we believe every individual has something to contribute. We also believe that only when you're 100% you, are you 100% Darlington. 

Here at Darlington, every student’s path is different. We think that's a good thing. 

In this #SeniorSpotlight get to know Holly Raper, a 10-year day student from Rome, who’s  a member of the varsity tennis team and a day leader in Regester House. 
                    
When you think of high school, what song comes to mind?     

“Fast” by Luke Bryan    

What's your favorite show to binge on Netflix?     

“The Blacklist”

What house are you a member of?     

Regester House    

What are you involved in at Darlington?

Varsity tennis, Regester House day leader, Green Team, Y-Cabinet

If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?    

Coach Owens because he is always positive and motivating.          

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    

My favorite place on campus would have to be the lake.    

Who's your favorite teacher and why?   

Mrs. King because she is ALWAYS in a good mood and is the most caring person, and Mr. Hudson because he has a great sense of humor and his class is very fun. 

What's your favorite thing about Darlington?    

The campus    

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     

The House System and RUMPUS, which is a weekend-long competition between all the dorms. 

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?     

I have learned how to work well with others and go out of my comfort zone.    

Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?    

I want to go to the University of Alabama and become a lawyer.
