Davis named November Student of the Month

Outstanding academic achievement has won senior Claire Davis the honor of being named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for November.
Davis has a GPA of 99.53 with nine Honors and six AP credits. While at Darlington, she has earned the Parents’ Association Student Award, the University of Georgia Certificate of Merit, and the Wellesley College Book Award. Davis is a varsity cheerleader and a member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, the Student Support Team, the Discipline Committee, Spanish Club and Young Republicans. She currently serves as secretary of the Y-Cabinet and president of the Honor Council.
Outside of Darlington, Davis is a member of First Baptist Church in Rome. Through this organization, she has served as a nursery volunteer and a representative on the church’s Youth Council. She also went on a mission trip to Birmingham, England during her sophomore year.
