Dateline Tonight: The Perils of Parenting

I want to make you aware of and invite you to watch tonight’s episode of Dateline NBC. The show, titled “The Perils of Parenting,” will explore how our children actually act when we aren’t around. They will looks at topics that most of us have discussed with our children, such as how to deal with bullies, whether or not to answer the door when parents are not at home, and the dangers of texting, to name a few.

I hope informational shows like this one will keep us talking to our children and students, as well as each other, so we can continue to ensure that our school community is a safe place for young people to learn, live and grow.
