Darlingtonians run in Clocktower 5K Road Race

Several members of the Darlington community competed in the Annual Clocktower 5K Road Race Saturday, Aug. 21. The race began at Barron Stadium and ended at the top of Clocktower Hill.
Darlington participants included Fatema Bandukwala, Alex Berry, Katie Brewster, Elizabeth Buice, Kristi Buice, Rick Buice, Ben Cantrell, Rob Davis, Stefan Eady, Greg Foreman, Grier Fricks, Barrett Gilbert, William Gilbert, Davis Grizzard, Elizabeth Harbin, Zachary Martin, Connor McWhorter, Daniel Powell, Will Watters and Ken Wempe.
Elizabeth Buice, Kristi Buice and Wempe placed first in their age divisions, while Bandukwala and Foreman were named second-place winners in their divisions. Davis earned a third-place win.
