Under the direction of Dr. Sam Baltzer, the Clock Tower Jazz Ensemble will be in concert on Saturday, June 14, at Darlington School's Huffman Athletic Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7.

Guests are invited to bring their own tables, chairs, and a picnic dinner for a fun, toe-tapping evening of great music. Tables and chairs are also available to be rented and will be set up and awaiting guests' arrival. Table rentals range from $35 to $50, depending on the number of chairs, and are available by calling the Rome Symphony Orchestra office at 706-291-7967 or online at the RSO website.

“This is a fun, social concert where we try and bring the outdoor feel inside," said RSO Executive Director Debra Cook. "No need to worry about bugs, heat or bad weather; you can have your friends and picnic in the cool indoors. This is one of our most well-attended concerts and is the last concert of our 2013-2014 season. We hope everyone will come out and enjoy the music. A 'best dressed table' will be awarded, so all are encouraged to have fun with their decorations."

The Crawdaddy’s Cajun and Creole food truck will be on site at 6 p.m. for those wishing to purchase food at the concert.

Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $2 for students if tickets are purchased in advance. They are on sale at Kroger, World Hi-Fi, the Visitors Center, the Rome Symphony Orchestra Office, Merry Bee Gallery, Riverside Gourmet, Living & Giving, Bussey's in Cedartown and online at www.romesymphony.org. Tickets purchased at the door on the evening of the concert will be $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $5 for students.
