Darlington Students Cheer on Streets of London

With an estimated total audience of more than 20 million, three Darlington School varsity cheerleaders, Whitney Keene, Lauren Muller, and Tiffany Payne, welcomed the new millennium with cheer as they participated in The New Millennium London Parade. These all-star cheerleaders represented the Universal Cheerleaders Association and Universal Dance Association during this globally televised event as more than one million spectators lined the streets. The cheerleaders, along with more than 10,000 performers, paraded, danced, or cheered past London’s Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, and Berkeley Square Jan. 1.
