Darlington senior awarded two scholarships

Senior Geoffrey Peacock has been named a University Scholar and will receive a University Engineering Scholarship. This scholarship is valued at $7,000 and is renewable for eight semesters (fall/spring) of tuition for a total value of $28,000 The award may be used for study in one of the traditional, undergraduate programs on the Mercer-Macon campus.
Berry College also has awarded Peacock an academic scholarship based on his excellent gradepoint average and test scores. The scholarship is valued at $3,978 for a total value of $15,912.
Peacock is the day prefect for student activities in the Barnes House.
